Brussels ateliers, 16th century – Louvre museum, Paris

Size: 133 x 197 cm  (52” x 78”)

The “Chasse de Maximilien” series is kept in the Louvre museum in Paris. It is comprised of twelve pieces, corresponding to the twelve months of the year. This particular tapestry depicts hunting with dogs in August.
